On the morning of October 7, Tamar began to receive chilling WhatsApp messages on her phone and realized her beloved Kibbutz Be’eri was in real danger. Tamar and her husband Uri locked themselves in their bomb shelter, then decided to move to the attic to hide in a closet. And just in time, as a group of terrorists broke into their home and turned it into a command center.
Tamar lost many relatives and friends in the attacks, but she and Uri survived. Since then, she has received support from Maki and the Fund for Victims of Terror, showing strength and a true Zionist spirit.
