Danyelle Neuman and Noa Hanuka

Noa Hanuka \\ Survivor of the Kibbutz Mefalsim massacre, Jewish Agency employee

Danyelle Neuman \\ Chief of Financial Resource Development Sales Strategy, The Jewish Agency

When Danyelle met Noa at Barzilai Medical Center in Ashkelon two days after the October 7 attacks, there were two beds in the hospital room: one for Noa, a pregnant survivor of the Kibbutz Mefalsim massacre, and one for her husband Noam, unconscious with gunshot wounds, sedated and on a ventilator. Danyelle knew Noa could soon become a widow with a newborn and that both needed a miracle.

Over several visits, Danyelle offered strength and comfort as Noa transitioned from supporter to recipient, becoming a beneficiary of the Fund for Victims of Terror through The Jewish Agency.

Luckily, Noam woke up. They are now parents to Roy. Indeed, miracles do happen.
